    After only 7 sessions I am feeling stronger, fitter, happier and healthier. Getting up early and starting my day in such a positive and supportive environment is fabulous. Its not just the endorphins from the exercise, it’s the real and personalised support from Joy and all the extra knowledge and ideas that she so generously shares and inspires me with. I am really looking forward seeing & feeling my results after completing the current 12 week program I am on. I thoroughly and whole heartedly recommend this Spin Cycle Studio to anyone who is ready to make a commitment to their own health & well being and wants to have some fun along the way.     Have travelled up to Bonny Hills from Sydney to enjoy a small break. I had my first ever spin cycle class with Joy yesterday. She was wonderfully encouraging and took a lot of care and time to tell me proper cycling techniques. FYI, you lead with the ball of your foot. I also did an “ab” class with her this morning and believe it or not, Joy made it a very fun class. WIth this class also she spent a lot of time ensuring I was doing the exercises correctly. I have been through a difficult period lately and found that that doing these classes with Joy has been incredibly beneficial and was exactly what I needed.

      Alessandra it is a shame you don’t live nearer. You pick things up very easy, it was a pleasure to be part of your life albeit for a short space of time. NOW go and find a similar Studio in Sydney 🙂

    I love Spin Cycle Studio, Bonny Hills and here’s 5 reasons why: awesome Watt Bikes, great timetable with lots of choices, excellent studio, Joy who an inspiration and does great motivation & the results I have achieved…..
    1. Excellent bikes. The Wattbikes are comfortable, easily adjustable and feel solid and steady to ride. I love the detailed statistics about distance, RPM and calories burnt after each session. In the time I have been coming to Spin class with Joy, I have measurably improved heart rate zones and hence my fitness.
    2. Great timetable with plenty of choices am & pm. I love the early class because I can get my exercise, start the day in a positive way and still be at work in Port Macquarie on time.
    3. Fantastic studio space with great fans and Airconditioning that really works. Big mirrors, big screen TV for going on virtual rides and always great music to get us up and going.
    4. Joy is motivational, inspirational and truly committed to continually learning and sharing the most up to date, cutting edge information on fitness and health techniques. She also allows plenty of opportunity to warm and warm down as well as stretch after each session to ensure muscles are looked after.
    5. The results I have personally achieved by coming regularly since March 2015 as an absolute beginner to spin class are:
    a. I have lost 3 kg weight, gained muscle tone and pulled in my belt by several notches.
    b. Improved my cardio and aerobic fitness to the point where I no longer suffer from asthma.
    c. I have also found some of my psychological exercise limits then left them behind and in doing so gained self esteem and confidence in other areas of my life.
    I whole heartedly recommend spin Cycle Studio Bonny Hills to anyone who is ready to make a change and take back the reins of their life.

      Wow, thanks for that Lynda. I know I am bias when it comes to the Wattbike and all you can achieve with it, but coming from a newbie to cycling such as yourself I certainly am happy with my choice of equipment. BUT at the end of the day, that is what the Wattbike is a piece of equipment. It is YOU that DID THE HARD WORK TO GET THE RESULTS ! WELL DONE 🙂

    Michelle Burton As a newcomer (and over 40) to the world of spin cycling, it has been great to feel the benefits of “spinning” and actually enjoy exercise again!

    My goal was to lose some weight and feel better which has been reached in a surprisingly short space of time. And I only have time for 2 sessions a week.

    In fact, I have now “taken off my training wheels” and am pushing to the next level. This confidence to train harder and feel stronger is a testament to Joy’s endless enthusiasm, encouragement and reassurance as an instructor.

    The sessions are great value and the local studio (I live in lake cathie) makes it much easier to just keep going. As well as a variety of class times to balance with work / life scheduling.

    The spin bikes are top class (and brand new), offering the latest in technology so that the workouts are measurable with a range of data at your fingertips. And at the 1st session, Joy “fits” the bike to your body requirements – reducing risk of aches and pains.

    Joy’s passion and drive for cycling, eating healthy and general well-being is infectious. I thoroughly enjoy my time at the Spin Cycle studio. It is the best thing that I have done for myself in years. Thanks Joy.

    Not having done a spin class before I was worried about all the usual things: setting up the bikes, pedalling correctly, will I be able to last the whole session, and of course, how sore will I be the next day? (Not too bad actually!). But there was no need to worry – Joy takes care of everything!
    My favourite part is the quick results. Also, the smaller group size means Joy can tailor your workout and talk you through the sessions.
    It’s hard work packaged in a fun and relaxed air- conditioned environment – yes you still sweat, but you burn heaps of calories too!
    The Watt bikes are set up for you personally, and smart enough to provide a heap of data to help you track your progress.
    I found the initial 8 week program going twice a week very manageable. Here it is 6 months later and I’m still managing – in fact, thanks to you Joy, I’m practically a cyclist now 😜
